Effortlessly modify the record's "weight" using the top dial of the MAGVEL CLAMP, enabling you to seamlessly continue your performance without the need to change slip mats or slip sheets.
Customizable torque level
Adjusting the turntable rotation torque level according to your preference is a breeze in the utility settings. Choose from "High" for quick startup upon pressing PLAY, "Low" for the traditional torque speed that many DJ's are familiar with, or "Mid" for a balanced compromise between the two.
Adjustable stopping speed
Utilize the front deck switch to customize the turntable's stop time when pressing STOP. Opt for "Min" for a quick, sharp stop. Choose "Mid" for the traditional stopping speed familiar to DJs. Alternatively, select "Max" for the longest stopping speed, providing a gradual and dramatic finish to your track or performance.
Performance Pads for accurate and rapid control
The PLX-CRSS12 maintains the classic turntable layout while introducing a new feature: four built-in MIDI-mappable Performance Pads. Placed conveniently just below the platter, these pads provide instant access to your favorite features. This setup proves especially useful if you're performing on a mixer without pads. The device offers native support for different pad modes (refer to the list below), and a dedicated button allows you to switch control from pads 1-4 to 5-8. Moreover, the pads are MIDI mappable, enabling you to assign them to other features as needed.
OLED display for quick confirmation of track information
The incorporated OLED display enhances your concentration on the deck. Monitor the tempo range and key during Step Pitching, and when the PLX-CRSS12 is connected via USB to your PC/Mac running DJ software, easily reference BPM, key, and deck number information. The display provides swift access to utility settings, eliminating the need to interrupt focus by checking your laptop or mixer during a performance.
Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox compatibility
The PLX-CRSS12 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. By connecting this unit to a PC/Mac with DJ software installed, and to a mixer that supports the DVS function of the respective DJ software, you can start playing in Digital Vinyl mode and use the Performance Pads.
