These transformers ensure impeccable 20Hz to 20kHz performance, maintaining a deviation of less than 1.5dB above 18kHz. Notably, they exhibit exceptional resilience against high signal levels, preventing distortion.
In contrast to active circuits that succumb to overload beyond the rail voltage, these transformers saturate gracefully. This distinctive quality imparts a delightful effect that naturally refines the tone, serving as a subtle limiter. This attribute proves especially beneficial when interfacing the ProD2 with digital pianos, samplers, and drum machines known for generating excessive dynamics.
Furthermore, transformers excel in mitigating hum and buzz arising from ground loops, enhancing the overall audio experience.
